The program runs from July 5 to August 1, 2026. July 5 (Sunday) is the mandatory arrival and check-in date, and program-arranged housing will be available beginning on that date. Official program activities begin on July 6. August 1 is the official program end date and designated departure day. Program-arranged housing is not provided after the night of July 31.

Yes. If you plan to arrive before July 5 or remain in China after August 1, please let us know in advance. We will do our best to help coordinate additional housing in the same student residences or hotels used during the program, subject to availability. Please note that any additional housing costs outside the official program dates are the responsibility of the student.

The PCI program provides safe and convenient accommodations arranged by our partner universities in both Beijing and Shanghai. Housing is located either on campus or in hotels situated very close to the universities, with careful consideration given to campus access, public transportation, and daily commuting convenience during the program. In Beijing: Students will stay in the International Student Housing at Beijing Language and Culture University (BLCU). In Shanghai: Students typically stay in hotels located near Shanghai University of Finance and Economics (SUFE). Additional accommodation details and sample housing information are available on the program website.

All participants should arrive in Beijing at the beginning of the program, regardless of their later program track or city assignment. Students completing their internships in Beijing will depart from Beijing at the end of the program, while students completing their internships in Shanghai will depart from Shanghai. The PCI program provides airport pickup for students arriving on July 5 (official arrival day) and airport drop-off for students departing on August 1 (official departure day). Please note that our provided airport pickup and drop-off services cover Beijing Capital International Airport (PEK) and Shanghai Pudong International Airport (PVG).  Detailed arrival instructions will be shared closer to the start of the program.
