2026 Professional Chinese & Internship Application & Payment

Before you begin, please ensure you have the following documents ready for upload. Note that this form does NOT automatically save your progress, so it should be completed in one session:

  • Statement of Interest addressing the three questions below (~300 words)

    • Why are you interested in this program?

    • How does it relate to your academic or professional goals?

    • What do you hope to gain from an internship experience in China?


  • Chinese Writing Sample 

    • Upload a Chinese writing sample from your most recent course.

    • We accept digital documents in Word or PDF format, or up to three high-resolution photos of handwritten work.

    • If you do not have a previous sample available, please submit a short essay in Chinese explaining your interest and goals for the program as a demonstration of your proficiency level.

  • Resume / C.V.

  • Academic Transcript (Official or unofficial)

Pre-Program Intensive Chinese Language Course

  • Duration: 4 weeks

  • Schedule: 5 days per week

  • Instruction:

    • 1 hour of small-group instruction per weekday

    • 1 hour of guided practice / office hours per weekday

  • Total instructional hours: 40 hours

  • Class size: Maximum 4 students
